Kikuchi Childrens Amusement Park
Kikuichi children’s amusement park is situated on the border line surrounded by Koto Ward. The park itself is not unusual, but has one of the Violinist of Hameln anime characters on the bench. Kiyosumi Teien(清澄庭園)
Kiyosumi Teien (清澄庭園) was the residence of an Edo era merchant which later became the property of a feudal lord who turned it into a garden. It is said during the Meiji period the founder of Mitsubishi brought guests to the garden to entertain.
A highlight of the Kiyosumi Teien landscape garden are the many stones set around the grounds. Landscape stones are highly sought after and valuable, and some of the ones in the garden are famous stones that were acquired from all across Japan.
“isowatari” which means stepping stone paths in Japanese is one of the highlights of this garden.
This garden is one of the beautiful landscape gardens found in Japan and is definitely worth a visit.
